Lufthansa GTS Cape Town is also the largest supplier of all infrastructure and manpower needs of Lufthansa's Global Load Control Centres (GLC).
The GLC team is responsible for the weight and balance calculations for about 1800 flights per day and provides professional station support for all aircraft loading related queries from 37 different customer airlines and more than 140 stations worldwide.
Operating on a 24 / 7 basis the around 140 GLC employees in Cape Town, Brno(Czech Republic) and Istanbul (Turkey) complete around 680.000 load sheets p.a.
Since its launch in 2004 the global Load Control Network is the most successful Load Control Network globally.
