The main duty of a GLC agent is determining the centre of gravity of a plane upon departure and ensuring that this is within safe limits.
In doing so a GLC agent is responsible for the processing of flights, including:
Weight and Balance calculations
Giving Loading instructions to ground crew
Releasing the final load and trim sheet before departure
